There's a physics joke making the rounds, which some people are complaining about because they don't get it.

It has led to a joke in physics circles now: The Higgs boson has not been discovered yet, but its mass is 125 billion electron volts.

Here's the equivalent layperson's joke:

"Have you met my brother?"

"Is he about 6 feet tall, dark hair, blue eyes, has a mustache, wears a bowler cap, has two earrings in his left ear, a scar on his right cheek, and walks with a limp?"

"Yeah, that's him."

"I've never met him."
